Why is this so important?
Insurers calculate your premium based on your address — things like local crime rates, accident statistics, and flood risk. If your address is wrong, your policy is based on incorrect information. In the worst case, your insurer can void your policy entirely, leaving you uninsured and liable. Make sure you also update your driving licence and V5C registration with your new address.
Will my premium change?
Possibly. Moving to a lower-risk area could reduce your premium. Moving to a higher-risk area could increase it. Your insurer will recalculate and let you know. Some charge an admin fee for mid-policy changes.

Call your insurer or update through their app or website. You'll need your policy number and new address. Most process the change immediately. If your premium changes, they'll adjust your payments.
What about where you park?
If your parking situation has changed (e.g. from a driveway to street parking, or vice versa), tell your insurer. Where you park overnight is a factor in your premium.
